Alaska Peat's grower grade Canadian Sphagnum peat moss provides water retention and air porosity for a wide range of uses including:

• Soil mixes for nursery containers
• Landscape soil conditioners
• Mushroom casing material
• Preparation of flower beds
• Blending for golf green mixes

Other uses include:

• Horse and animal bedding
• An additive for composting to reduce odour and control air & water in compost pile
• As an absorbent for environmental cleanups or transportation of hazardous materials

3.8 cf Compressed Packaging

3.8 cf bales are designed for retail users.  This size allows greater ease in unloading and reduced overall handling.  They are shipped 30 per pallet, shrink wrapped.

 

55 cf Compressed “Big Bear” Packaging

Big Bear 55 cf bags are designed for commercial users who prefer the convenience and economy of bulk packing.  Uses 50% less packaging than our 3.8 cf bales.
